Nazdar continues to tempt print shops to change from OEM inks to their wide format cartidges. The free ink campaign, where the first 1000 respondents get one free cartridge of Nazdars ink, is now also running in the UK.
Nazdar inks are formulated to be chemically compatible with certain OEM inks by Mimaki, Roland, Mutoh, Seiko and HP. For a detailed list of compatible OEM inks, consult the ink conversion sheet provided by the company. Nazdar says that compability with other non-OEM or 3rd party inks is a bit trickier, as they cannot guarantee all inks will work together without problems. They have included a general conversion procedure for these cases in the datasheet.
The advantage for printers to use Nazdars wide format cartridges instead of the original manufacturers inks would be the price. Nazdar states that their inks are typically priced 30% or more below the OEM list price. The inks come with a warranty, where Nazdar will pay for the repair of an ink train damaged by their inks.
To sign in for the Free Ink offer, a registration is necessary on the Nazdar homepage.
